Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05.

Not the most comfortable shoesSoles are bumpy, had to buy gel pads. Slightly discomforting around sides of toes. You can feel the edge of the steel toe rub on your feet.

An OK shoeI bought these just for work. I have had them 8 months and I am not impressed with the shoe over all. First within 2-3 weeks I purchased a pair of inserts for them. I thought they just took a while to break in, but they still don't feel like they are broken in. They are a very hot shoe. They don't seem to have any breathing in the design to allow your feet any cooling at all. A few weeks ago I noticed that the sole is coming loose and that inside the back the material is pulling apart. I work shift so I only have these on 14-28 days and spend a lot of time at a desk monitoring machines, so there should be very little going wrong with them at this point.
