Durango® Maverick XP™ Steel Toe Puncture Resistant Western Work Boot
This is the men’s 11” Western Nicotine Chocolate Steel Toe Puncture Resistant Durango® Maverick XP™. This style is full-grain leather with a soft mesh lining, a high-abrasion heel counter, and the Durango® X-Pand System™—a hidden gore expansion on the inside medial seam for a universal fit and easy on/off. It also features the Durango® X-Treme Comfort footbed™ with Memory Foam for all-day comfort and support, a fiberglass shank for lightweight stability, and a puncture-resistant insole. This style has a dual-density EVA midsole with a firmer shock-absorbing heel for added stability and a soft, shock-absorbing forepart for ultimate flexibility and comfort. The rolled shank area and anti-torsion ridged external shank provide added lateral stability. The outsole is a multi-durometer rubber with high-abrasion outer lugs for impact durability and softer mid lugs for increased flexibility, along with enhanced heat, slip, and oil resistance. It also features a double row sole stitch for added durability and a 1½” rocker heel. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
