NRA 2017 Recap

May 2017 - SlipGrips joined around 2,000 exhibitors and more than 60,000 visitors at the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show this year. As a long-time attender, this is one of our favorite shows for showcasing new slip-resistant technology, brands and styles to the foodservice industry.

As a division of Lehigh Outfitters, we also highlighted and promoted our highly successful corporate shoe program called CustomFit - demonstrating to the many attendees how they can save time and money and reduce their risk and liability.

Wet, soapy and greasy floors are a constant safety hazard in the foodservice environment. From large to small, owners and workers of restaurants, bars, bakeries, coffee houses and eateries are looking for shoes designed and built to reduce slips and falls. Our booth spotlighted over 16 highly-rated slip-resistant brands and a variety of trending non-slip styles that successfully do that.

A big hit of the SlipGrips booth was our Unlock It & Win game! Lots of traffic produced a lot of winners who picked the right key to unlock the padlock. Check out the booth and some of the excited winners below.

Winners received a free pair of our newest SlipGrips styles featuring DragonGrip Advanced Tread Technology. With superior Mark II ASTM F1677-05 slip-resistant test results surpassing the competition and the future availability of fresh bold colors in the uppers as well as the outsole, our staff heard rave reviews about these shoes.
