Cooling features are built into the WorkHog XT Spear. Constructed with VentTEK™ technology, the 11 inch dark chocolate brown leather shaft is integrated with mesh panels that promote air flow, helping to regulate temperature inside the boot. A Dri-Freeze® performance lining within the foot helps wick away moisture, helping feet feel dry and cool.
Boots go on easy with pull tabs and the U-Turn® entry system that stretches a little to accommodate wide feet and/or high arches. Remain on your feet and stable with Ariat's ATS Max® platform. The platform includes a removable rebound insole with EVA midsole that delivers lightweight, shock-absorbing cushioning. Confidence comes with an extra-wide shank that provides maximum side-to-side stability in harsh outdoor work environments. With a 90 degree heel, a square toe and Goodyear Welt construction, this boot is both comfortable and durable. Underfoot the Duratread™ rubber outsole is practical and easy with a self-cleaning, non-tracking tread design that also is oil- and slip-resistant.
This work boot meets ASTM F2413 I/75 C/75 protective toe classification with a carbon safety toe that gives the boot a nice profile and is lightweight. The Spear also meets ASTM standards for electrical hazard resistance.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
